Using IE Day to enhance your own web evangelism ministry

If you are already involved in some area of web evangelism, then Internet Evangelism Day can be used to enhance your own ministry.

You can endorse IE Day and >make it known to your Christian public through your magazines, literature and website. But you can then ‘piggy-back’ onto the Day, by making available to your supporters additional material relating specifically to your own web ministry.

So instead of churches planning a general web evangelism focus day, you can encourage them to also focus specifically on your own web ministry. You can do this by offering downloads on your own website, features in your print magazine, or mailouts on request.

Your ministry-specific focus could include material about:

• what you do, and how you do it.
• a people focus: team profiles.
• information on your target audience.
• prayer newsletter signup request.
• recruitment of sparetime or fulltime team members.
